Its a cockpit of a plane with small range It doesn't need to be comfy...

Hs-123 is an interesting plane. It gave a good showing for it self in RL.
I always like that small bi-plane.

So you are dropping the 20mm motor canon?

My suggestion would be 4x.303 in the wings and a HS404 firing through the hub

You have taken in to account that this aircraft is shorter and probably lighter and faster than the 2 seater in the link? (I am not really good with feets and pounds..)
