Powered by two 1350hp motorjets.

Motorjets are a jet engine technology, so the +3 year rule doesn't apply to them.

They're not proper jets, but it would take some time to get the reheat section working ok. As I said before, the performance estimates are rather optimistic anyway.

The last one looks pretty good, but isn't a radial P-40 a P-36? It looks like a heavy bore cannon firing through the propeller boss, which isn't really possible with a radial engine.

I'm no aviation expert, but I'd hate to be the guy with that job. Sounds painful, and something like a one-time occupation with generous bonus pay for your widows and orphans.

Hmm, my english fails me again since I cant tell if you are serious or not.

My deadpan sarcasm doesn't translate well over text-based medium, I think.

Essentially, to access that starter, it looks like you have to do it either standing right up against the prop, or poking something through the prop.

A fairly common and much safer way of starting an engine that hand turning the prop.

An Hs-129 mail plane?

Heavily modified but yes, a lot of planes started as Mailplanes (Ju-86, He-111, Blenheim, Amiot 350 etc )

But the 129s hull really is not made to carry more than 10 postcards - she really is not well suited for the task intended.

Yeah but the're the safest ten postcards in the world!
What WW needs is an express postcard service. :D

The starter is a Hucks starter I presume?

Lovely drawings too, love the radial P-40. It looks right, the P-36 just looks... flimsy.

As for the hucks starter you are correct, unfortunatly the Finnish livery on the Razorbacked Radial P-40 violated ToS somehow...

The server the sim runs on is in Germany. Finnish livery of the period includes a swastika, though it's not the same as the reversed Nazi emblem, and the swastika is banned in Germany (and has been since the end of WWII). That's probably why.

It was a Photobucket ToS violation, none of my other drawings of WW2 aircraft has been deleted
