Nereus, Atlantean Aircraft carrier laid down 1943

Atlantean designers attempted to take the Arcturus design and make it more survivable as well as carry more aircraft. The Nereus class has a thicker torpedo bulkhead, heavier AA armament and has more support facilities aboard. Also included in the design is a deck edge lift on the starboard side. Original sketches of the design also included a flight deck overhang to port of the Island to allow transfer of aircraft fore and aft outside of the main landing area but this was ultimately removed from the design.

Alioth Class Aircraft Carrier
The Alioth was the first purpose built carrier in Atlantean service. In 1934 she briefly assisted the CVT Siboney in training duties to work up air groups for the new pair of Arcturus class CV's building. In 1937 she along with the Chilean Carrier Mapuche sank the Peruvian battleship Huascar during the Leticia crisis. Following the end to the crisis she once again began assisting Sibony (now paired up with the CVT Nautica) in working up airgroups for the six new Arcturus class CV's building. Following their completion the Alioth once again took to regular duty's when she transferred to the Caribbean/southeast pacific theatre along side the other veteran carriers of the fleet, the Arrogant and Fearless, fresh from their extensive refits. In 1942 the Alioth (along with the Vengeance class carriers) transferred to the Northern fleet. The following year Alioth along with Siboney, Nautica, Arrogant and Fearless all had stints of training for the airgroups for the planned Nereus and later Helios class carriers. Its expected that once the newer carriers join the fleet the Alioth will be finally retired.

CVT Nautica

This ship was to replace the converted Siboney as a training ship once completed. Plans have since been made for possible refit that would allow her to operate as a frontline carrier.

Nautica, Atlantis Aircraft Carrier laid down 1931

Displacement: (officially)
12,452 t light; 12,744 t standard; 14,615 t normal; 16,112 t full load

205.00 m / 198.79 m x 21.95 m x 6.89 m

Armament: none as per Cleito treaty
Nautica was constantly upgrading her airgroup but given her flight deck size more modern aircraft were used as soon as they came into service, leaving older and slower aircraft to train on board Siboney.

Aircraft were as follows:

It was originally intended that Siboney would be removed from training service once the training carrier Nautica completed but the end of the Cleito treaty and the subsequent carrier building program resulted in Sibony being retained until the Arcturus class CV's were fully worked up.

Siboney, Atlantean Training Carrier laid down 1918 rebuilt 1931
