Chilean Army Organization

As of 1946, the Chilean Army is organized into four divisions, supported by two panzergrenadier brigades and two cavalry brigades. A small number of other specialized forces, including a paratrooper battalion, fill out the order of battle.

Additionally, several battalions of troops are organized in the CBSAR (Chilean-Bolivian Special Administrative Area), recruited from the local population. These troops are called "the Territoriales" and are used for security work.
