It lives again O_o.

It just decided to start working. But it will not fool me I know it just trying to make me let my guard down, and then electrocute me.

Anyway I have a back up plan.
A computer from 1999, Running a OS that I know well enough to do maintenance on it.

As for the Operating systems.
Commodore 64 was a king among computers.
When it crashed it meant it physically fell of something.
MS-DOS was good and stable
Windows 3.11 easy too use
Win 95 was evil
Win 98 more Evil
Win XP damn I hate it.
Vista... don't get me started.

I'm waiting for PC's to go the way of Atari,Amiga and Commodore.
I want them too die already.

Mac driver here, since 1987.

Unfortunately, my home is infested with 3 PCs. (wife's desktop, kids laptops) and I'm the house SysAdmin.

Life really sucks sometimes. I'd love SpringSharp for the Mac!

AMIGA 500 rulez!

Still have mine including second drive, monitor and all the fun around somewhere. Last time I tried - after ten years in a box, it simply started and all was fine. Just some disks were wrecked....

I really was into this demo scene thing, made graphics and music on my own for our group. Gladly some people are still around who love the old stuff and keep it alive, i.e. http://amp.dascene.net/home.php

I was an A2000/3000T man myself, back in the day. Now I mostly run Linux, except when I have no choice.

Ugh, Macs. I hate Macs. The only good experience I've had with a Mac was playing Scepter-Challenger back in the 90s. It somehow refrained from locking up for an hour, and it was actually pretty fun.

*Insert hours-long rant against Macs here.*

I wish they'd make Macs like they make the iPod. That's got PC reliability and usability in a cool-looking package. Only Mac product I'll touch.

I made some simple programing in Basic on a Commodore 64.

I have too say I newer actually been in the same room with a Mac.

News from the front:
Problem is most likelly a software one somewere in the Bios as repeated "format c" fallowed by instaling windows again fielded no positive results.
Less and less programs funcion properly or at all.
Firefox died. *.dll files are deleting themself.

Its a fun experience. ?(
