A new Era...

The British Empire now has new hardware and broadband!

Got my new Samsung R580 laptop up and running with Windows 7 etc. Springsharp works fine and everything ok.

Time to decomission the old workhorse which is nine years old... RIP but its been a good machine.

My current computer is around the same age but it hasn't broken yet so I just haven't really needed to replace it. I've been considering getting a netbook for a bit more portability as I don't really need a great deal of computing power. Instead I've gone for other better bits, like my 24" flatscreen and awesome speakers. Just wish I had this screen at work.
