Ok, so most folks might think me mad for buying the Presidente Aguinaldo, but she's an almost sister to Patagonia.
As Bruce knows, Argentina has been hunting for a third battlecruiser to replace the old US-built battleships Libertad and Capitan Gascon. An improved de Mayo Class ship has been proposed for 1947+ but it is expensive. This ship might fill that need, generally the Navy is changing its strategy somewhat, it sees long-range oceanic commerce raiding and escort attacking forces as the way to win a repeat SA War. Coastal areas are too teeming with aircraft and smaller units to survive for long.

This is a proposed rebuild, the old sim was too tight to get adjust shell weights etc. so I decided to replace the engines to free up enough to fit a thoroughly modern German-sourced DP and AA battery. The 320mm guns Perdy had are puny with 453kg shells (far below the historical 1,157lb shells the OTL rebored guns had) so I'm relining them to fire the standard Italian 305mm 452kg shells used by Patagonia. The SS report remains the same as the gun weight etc. should be the same.
I've 0.2 hull strength left to play with, I had toyed with fitting a 50mm upper belt but that's out now (0.4 hull strength required) and the armour is not too bad (deck same as the de Mayos). So I'm open to ideas etc.
