Whereas the Empire of Bharat and the United Kingdom have previously come into conflict with each other over matters material, territorial, and diplomatic, and:
Whereas the Empire of Bharat and the United Kingdom have recently undertaken steps to normalize relations and develop diplomatic, social, and commercial interaction suitable to peaceful relations, and:
Whereas the Empire of Bharat and the United Kingdom have previously concluded agreements in regards to military matters, and:
Whereas the Empire of Bharat and the United Kingdom seek to continue along a path towards harmonius, respectful relations with each other, the Empire of Bharat and the United Kingdom therefore now do agree on the following matters:
Article A
The Empire of Bharat and the United Kingdom obligate themselves to desist from any act of aggressive action and any form of military attack on each other, either indiviudally or jointly with third parties.
Article B
The Empire of Bharat and the United Kingdom shall desist from entering into offensive military alliances directed at each other.
Article C
Should the Empire of Bharat or the United Kingdom become the object of belligerent action by a third party, the other contracting party shall in no manner lend its support to the third party.
Article D
Military clauses contained with previous agreements between Bharat and the United Kingdom, but not those within Part 3 of the Anglo-Bharat-Baluchistan Friendship Agreement, are repealed effective 1 January 1943.
Article E
This agreement shall remain in effect for a period of ten years from ratification by both parties. Unless explicitly stated by one party at least one year prior to the termination of the agreement, the agreement shall automatically renew for an additional ten year period.

OOC: It is understood by both signatories that the above - particularly the vaguely worded Article D - extends to the secret military clauses of ABUSE, without either party having to actually publically acknowledge such things ever existed.
