Here...

I guess we´re waiting for Peng to proceed with his storyline for example.

Otherwise we could go on with the next quarter on next weekend...

Here!

I've posted some q4/1921 news for France and Russia, and my Q1/1922 report is a projectile in the chamber, and the breech is closed...

My excuses

Part of the reason for my own silence is, as Hooman indicated, waiting to see how Peng's doing. I'm hesitant to start Q4 news without knowing when things are going to heat up in the South Atlantic.

I've also had a lot of real-life stuff competing for my attention - my work, a cold, and a great deal of time helping my wife with the kittens.

I will endeavour to get some news out soon, as there is some historical stuff affecting both of my nations in addition to the stuff I make up.

ok

I still have 4th quarter news that I can post but as far as I know peng's story line is just at the end of the third quarter and we are awaiting the big funeral. As soon as october rolls around I can post some news! I don't want to post any south american news in case it screws up pengs timeline of events.

Actually, the funeral's near the start of the quarter - late July. That leaves a fair bit of time for South Atlantic nastiness before Q3 ends.

I see no harm in posting Q3 news that is utterly unaffected by the Nordmark storyline; if you want to keep things in chronological order, you could always bump the thread when Peng's news postings caught up to the date of your event.

well, I for one am also waiting for the funeral, since my plans should not interact with Peng's

Just letting yo know I got back alive...

These days, you never know what those terrorists might do in a large city like London (although on three days I was on a trip outside London).
I had a great time, but the transportation was rather lousy (especially yesterday when the Stena Discovery wasn't sailing; We went with another ship, which took about 7 hours over a distance that is normally done in about 3 1/2 hours).

Okay you asked for it:
Saturday (Dec 6): Part of this day is spent travelling from home to the hotel. Rest of the day visiting shops.
Sunday: Out of bed too late to make one of the longer trips. Walked along the Thames and visited the Cabinet War Rooms (http://www.iwm.org.uk/cabinet/index.htm).
Monday: With a lot of delays finally got to the Bovington Tank Museum (http://www.tankmuseum.org/).
Tuesday: Another trip outside London. Went to the Imperial War Museum Duxford (http://www.iwm.org.uk/duxford/index.htm).
Wednesday: Another trip outside London. Went to Stonehenge and Bath.
Thursday: Went to the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (http://www.rbgkew.org.uk/).
Friday: Royal Air Force Museum Hendon was closed (wasted half a day to get there and back). Visited the Victoria and Albert Museum (http://www.vam.ac.uk/) instead
Saturday: Visited the British Museum (http://www.thebritishmuseum.ac.uk/index_f.html) in the Morning and the Imperial War Museum (http://www.iwm.org.uk/lambeth/index.htm) in the afternoon.
Sunday: Very long journey back home. We should have been home by about 5:15PM, but arrived some three hours later.

As for your other question: haven't heard of HtR for quite some time. Hope nothing serious has hapened to him.

I haven't heard from Harry for about 2-3 weeks.

IWM Duxford is really good, went there in october and spent ages drooling over the TSR.2
IWM London is amazing and has just about everything to do with war. The 15" guns are really good.
Bovington tank museum is undoubtedly the best tank museum there is.

I totally agree with you. Getting to Bovington and Duxford by train and bus is a real headache though (although not as much as the Underground on the Monday morning; took us well over an hour to get to Waterloo station what normally could be done in about 20 minutes. Because of that, we missed the 9:30 train to Wool by about 5 minutes and had to wait for almost an hour for the next train), but once there, one could stay there forever. Great stuff in all those museums.
