Windows Vista
Anyone else running Vista yet?
....you're talking to someone who was using Win98 until two months ago there bud.
Not here, I'm running Linux.
I've run Win 98, Win 2000 and Win XP. One problem I'm currently having is netframework won't update which means I'm without SS on the new system.
CURSES BILL GATES!!!
That's what I feared might happen. Hopefully SS and Vista are compatible because we will all have to update sometime before 2011 when XP support stops.
I'm sure Ians on top of the SS side of compatability issues. I think for me its just a case of figuring out the Netframework issues and I'm good to go.
Untill then I might have to resurect the old computer for SS.
I'm also finding the paint program isn't much different on Vista, though my new 19" flat screen LCD drastically changes the look of my drawings appearance, minor display issues I'm sure.
Ha!! solved! SS is now operational.
have it running on some of the demo machines in the shop, and have to say, it's more a case of "Nyeh!" than "WOW".
Like any new OS it take a little getting used to.
A mate of mine who works for "Microserf" has been working with it for the last 4 months and he hates it already!!
Heh, I hate newspapers cause I print so damn many of them in a week. I can see why he hates it!
