In light of the continued expansionism and agression on the parts of Argentina, Chile, and Columbia, the Peruvian Armada has issued a requirement for a modern class of Destroyers.

Five thousand tons of warship material has been allocated for this project; the preferred option is, obviously, four ships of 1,250 tons light displacement each, but other proposals will be considered.



(ooc: I've read that, historically, the Peruvians acquired six DDs in this timeframe...but with the expenditure for the CDBB a cut to four seemed logical...giving a "combined fleet" of 1 CDBB, 2 CL and 4 DD...)

Well had I not scrapped my old destroyers already I could have some them those.

Not sure if you could include Colombia in that group, they have done little expansion in the last 2+ years and they haven't shown any agression towards a neighbour....at least not yet.
