The Medical Flight Regiment uses the Standardversion of the SAC-52, however, the interior of the SAC-52 was adapted to the requirements..
There was room for 12 stretchers, each 3 superimposed. The cabin was covered with a washable paint plywood paneling, which was even at
low outdoor temperatures well heated. Moreover, by modifying the oxygen supply so that each stretcher had its own carrying oxygen mask
connection. The aisle between the stretchers offered sufficient space of movement for patient care in flight. In the rear room was enough
space for the accompanying medical orderly and his equipment and up to other four sitting patients. In this compartment also a toilet was
installed. During the flight dressing changes are performed, even regular intravenous injections and intravenous fluids administered.
