News from Atlantis, Aug./sept. 1923

August 25th, 1923

The Atlantean goodwill fleet sailed out of Marseille today to continue their cruise after its fleet manuvers with FAR fleet units. Some sailors could be seen blowing kisses at French maidens only to be severely accosted by senior officers to get back to thier posts. The fleet will proceed to Tunis, Malta, Athens and Finally Istambul.

August 28th, 1923

Sizemic activity was again observed on the Island of Terinife in the canary Islands, where geologists are keeping a close eye on the Pico volcano which is the sorce of much consearn ammoungst the islands inhabitants.

Sept. 8th, 1923

The Atlantean goodwill fleet made yet another stop at Tunis today for a breif stay before heading out back to sea on their peacefull voyage.

Sept. 12th, 1923

Today Malta welcomed the Atlantean goodwill fleet as it sailed into the Majestic harbour, greated by hundreds of Malta's citizens.

Sept. 19th, 1923

In the first Atlantean Visit to Greece the Goodwill fleet was welcomed in Athens by the crowds of Greeks and was even soluted by the Former Atlantean Battlecruisers Albania (ex Azaes) and Atlantis (Ex evamon) now sporting greek colours. The battleship Poseidons captain Addis Crisious remarked at how beautifull the ships still looked. He later was greated aboard Poseidon by Takis Talknotalotalopoles who sported a grin from ear to ear as he continuously gestured towards the battlecruisers in the harbour and then inspected the Captains fine vessel, no doubt relishing in the purchase of the two former Atlantean vessels.

Sept. 25th, 1923

The Oposition Party today reacted on news from France today and critisised the ruling Elephus party for carelessly choosing greedy countrys to form alligences too, to which the party members dismissed as preposterous claims. The Tuarus party aslo critizied their moderate bretheren for not defending the French enough but quickly joined them in rebutting the remarks of the Delpin party members. Prime minister Varnha Olimbos stated "clearly the oposition is too quick to comment on the issues in France and I suspect its out of envy that they were not the party to set up this grand defensive alliance!", a remark that set the house into a frenzy of heated arguements that clearly were in the ruling party's favor.

Sept. 26th, 1923

The Atlantean goodwill fleet arived today at Izmir, Turkey on an unschedualed stop, after making better than expected time on their cruise. Crowds quickly lined the shoreline as the fleet entered the harbour. The fleet will remain for two days and even take some tours before leaving for Istambul arriving on the 2nd of October.
