A Stranger in Queensland
January 8th

Reporters report a strange incident in Queensland. It all started with a croc hunt. A number of hunters hunting a notorious crocodile reported, that suddenly a strange plane landed in the river. While the pilot was climbing out of the plane, he was attcked by the crocodile. The pilot then pulled out his gun and shot the crocodile dead. The pilot, who according to one of the hunters spoke some strange form of English, was taken as a hero to the local bar. The next morning the pilot took of bound for what he said was Copenhage, dont know where that is. The plane loaded with fuel and several cases of beer, barley cleared some trees, headed south. In the words of a hunter "Whatever that Koppenhege is, it certainly is not that a way" The airplane was a white seaplane with a red lion on the side.

Now who could he be?

Well...the pilot hit what he was aiming for, which ought to rule out Manzo.

When he sees a row of teeth, he'll be motivated enough to hit something...
Sure hope he didn't leave the floats of the plane behind when he took off!

Could be someone else.

"The airplane was a white seaplane with a red lion on the side."

This is our clue aside from the odd form of English. Does anyone historical use this sort of motiff?

Aircraft crashes into HMAS Brisbane!
January 10th

According to her commanding officer,as Brisbane was returning from an excercise, a white aircraft suddenly poped out of the low lying clouds and struck Brisbane in the starboard aft 6" mount. An explosion followed as ammunition caught fire. Fortunately the tugboats assisting Brisbane had sufficient fire fighting equipment, and the fire was quickly put out. The pilot of the aircraft must be pretty lucky, he was pulled out of Sydney Bay without a scratch. The pilot, who was a Colonel in the Japanese Navy, was pretty drunk, and is thought to be the same pilot who caused quite a stir in Queensland. Apperantly the weather and the pilot's condition where factors in this tragic accident

The Brisbane Incident
January 15th

Investigations have revealed that the pilot of the aircraft was the infamous Japanese pilot Onishi "Crash" Manzo. The pilot was on his way to Copenhege for the Naval conference. How he ended up in Sudney is anyones guess. He has reportedly applied for assylum, strange when it is considered that he has been charged with a PUI* Surprisingly an intact case of beer and a crocodile tail were found in the remains of the crash. It is tought that the twin factors of bad weather and pilot intoxication were responsible for this accident. HMAS Brisbane has been seriously damaged, the section around the 6in gun being gutted. Fortunately considering the damage, there were only 13 casualties.
