Abderos is an small evolution over CA29 Ladon I take it?

With Monarch you're probably better off with the actual hull being 34.8m as bulges aren't as good for TDS. Then again, torpedo-vulnerable SAE ships might be a good thing....

You´re right. That CA is a modification of LADON, kind of a second batch.

Regarding the BB - I designed her without a transome (if only to be different). Hence something else had to go and a reduced beam lowered the weight distributed to deck armor. I also wouldn´t call a TT resistance of 10+ torpedos inadequate for a vessel her size.
