BT June 21st 1921: SOUTH GEORGIA WT STATION DYSFUNCTIONAL

This morning the regular transmission from the WT (Wireless Telegraphy) station at South Georgia was interrupted, after which it was impossible to raise the station again. The WT station has been known for some time to have reliability issues, and these seem now to have conspired to bring the station down. It is to be hoped that the recent change of government at South Georgia will result in a renewal of the WT station there.
