War in the South Atlantic
In the last few days the situation in the South Atlantic has deteriorated considerably resulting in a state of war between the Kingdom of Nordmark and Argentina. Various nations have responded in different ways, Italy having taken a more Neutral stance interning ships from both nations for 48 hours. Greece has responded by sending additional forces to the region and is actively evacuating non-beligerant nationals, a move that is expected to be bolstered by Atlantian forces. Iberia has taken a pro nordmark stance against Argentina and has frozen Argentinian assets and has threatened internment of Argentinian ships. Its expected that more nations will condemn the beligerant behaviour of Agentina in the next few days.
Explosion in Caracus
Early this morning an explosion rocked the city of Caracus when a suspected bomb exploded outside the govt. buildings. The responcibility for the bombing has not yet been claimed but it is suspected that Columbian rebels are responcible. Several thousand Columbian citizens from many eastern city's in the nation have expressed their will to become part of the Venesuelan mainland as many of them are either venezuelan imagrants or have relatives living there. Columbia has been moving towards joining an Iberian rule. The columbian rebels appose any movement away from full Columbian sovereignty and several anarchist groups have joined them in opposing this.
