Joining Wesworld as the Player of Chosen
Hello,
with this thread I would like to make a formal request for taking over Chosen. I am around in the forum since one and a half years know and have finally decided that I would like to participate a little bit more in the wesworld community by actively playing one of the nations.
If there are any concerns let me know...
I've no concerns, since you cleared it with Walter and Parador. Welcome.
Tis cool with me. Welcome aboard.
I don't see issues. Welcome.
Finally, a new neighbor

I intended to name the newspaper which articles provides information about the political situation of Chosen as "The Chosen One".
Moreover the Callsign of the Presidents VIP plane is "Chosen One".....
Welcome to the madhouse!
and that's a nice little fleet Roo has built for you!
You could actually use the name 'Korea' rather than 'Chosen'. Chosen was the name of the region the Japanese used between the start of their occupation and protectorate in 1910 and the end of WWII; it comes from the Japanese spelling of Korea's last independent monarchy, the Joseon Dynasty.
Unless you're going to continue as a protectorate and fiefdom of Japan, 'Chosen' is not really an apt name in my opinion.
Perhaps I'm mixing up my WW history, and I'm too lazy to search right now, but didn't the Queen of Chosen get...chosen... to be Empress of Japan? Which would suggest continuing influence.

Indeed. The Puppet Queen of Chosen.
No? How about the Chosen Puppet Queen? Or the Queen of Puppet Chosen?
and that's a nice little fleet Roo has built for you!
They're also kinda owned by Japan (as well as the sister ships from Formosa that are now a part of the Chinese Navy).
The Puppet Queen of Chosen.
Yes, the Queen is indeed pulling the strings of Japan. Dance puppet dance!

Odd the IMG script shows when I quote but no picture is present.
I was thinking it was a reference to the "Laughing Gnome" not Labyrinth
Odd, I can't see it now either.

That is just... weird!
Well its nice when a puppet comes to life! Welcome to the madhouse proper Daidalos.

We kinda figured that oh sneaky treaty evader !
Kirk, they would have been integrated into the Japanese Navy right after the collapse of the treaty if that were the case. Since that has not happened, it should be obvious that there must be another reason for their existence.
I still see them as a puppet force, as a reserve fleet to back-up the IJN and for local protection duties whilst the IJN is away sailing the wide Pacific.
