Due to the various incidents, the misbehavior, dangerous actions and serious threats to the fragile peace that exists in the Southeast Asia Region by Canadian Armed Forces in the area of Hong Kong where they are guests to the United Kingdom, , the Japanese Olympic Comittee has decided to bar the nation of Canada from participating in the V Olympic Winter Games to be held at Sapporo between February 3 and February 12 as well as the XII Olympic Summer Games to be held at Edo between September 21 and October 6.
The Olympic Games are an event that symbolizes peace and the unity between the nations of the five inhabited continents. With their continuous antagonistic actions in the Hong Kong area, Canada has clearly shown that they care not at all for peace and are seeders of discord in the world and have therefore no place at an Olympic venue.
The Japanese Olympic Comittee has called upon the president of the International Olympic Committee, Count Henri de Baillet-Latour, to take steps and ban Canada from participating in future Olympic Events and the possibility of hosting them.

I do not believe that the host nation may unilaterally ban another nation from participating in the Olympic Games. To call upon the International Olympic Committee to do so is within the host's rights.

"Ban" might be illegal, but deporting the Canadian team as being personas non grata will achieve the same result.

"Deport" implies that an individual or group of individuals has already entered a country, and that they are being ejected. The announced Japanese action is pre-emptive, and therefore a "ban", which is inconsistent with the Olympic ideal.

Ireland, Chile, and Bulgaria are allowed to have their opinion, but probably fail to see that Canada obviously are trying to start a major war in the Asia region, but they want SATSUMA to start this war as it would make SAER, a defensive alliance, look bad when it is the first to attack.
The Japanese Olympic Committee will admit that it is disgusted that politics get mixed up with the games in such a manner and are saddened to take such a drastic step, but Canada's actions forced the JOC to make such an unfortunate decision. The JOC firmly believes that a nation with such motives has no place at an Olympic Venue as they will obviously undermine the very core of the Olympics, poison the spirits of the Games and ruin the morale of the participants.
OOC: At least the JOC is considerate enough to tell the Canadians "don't bother to make the journey across the Pacific."
I expect that as IOC president, Count Henri de Baillet-Latour could easily overturn the decision.

The Dominion of Canada (and the Canadian Olympic Committee) does not recognize the JOC's right to unilaterally bar teams from competing in the Olympic Games, and a formal protest has been lodged with the IOC. Furthermore, as the JOC has demonstrated a clear intent to hamper the Canadian Olympic team from participating in the games on an equal footing with other nations, we must insist on a change of venue of the 1940 games to a host nation capable of performing it's duties and obligations in an unbiased and fair manner, without using said opportunity as a venue for political posturing and discrimination.

Australia = Canada, therefore Australia bans itself from participating.

Mexico will participate, unless Chile participates in which case they will boycott the games.

Also confirmed on wikileaks; the JOC's stunt is as much a political statement as it is abject embarassment at the certain knowledge that Canada will dominate the games to Japan's eternal shame.
