Name: Awali Brothers Dhairya A Type: Carrier-based scout Crew: 2 Max Speed: 109 mph Range: 350 miles Wingspan: 41' 9" Length: 29' 1" Armament: 1 fixed 7.92 mm machine gun, firing forward; 1 ring-mounted 7.92 mm machine gun in rear cockpit; 1x50 kg bomb
Notes: First flew 1920, developed from Albatross C series of scout aircraft. Employed on Otta and at Naval Aviation Training School.
Used on strike against Danish cruisers and destroyers, losing four of twelve in exchange for one damaging hit. Navy said to be satisfied with scouting performance of type, but not bombing performance.

Notes: Development from Dhairya A accelerated following its inglorious performance against Danish warships in August 1924. First flew February 1925, may enter service by early 1926.
Name: Awali Brothers Toofani C Type: Carrier-based scout-bomber Crew: 1 Max Speed: 142 mph Range: 470 miles Wingspan: 41' 9" Length: 31' 4" Armament: 1 fixed 7.92 mm machine gun, firing forward; 1 ring-mounted 7.92 mm machine gun in rear cockpit; 1 x 200 kg on centreline pylon.
Notes: A very modest upgrade of the Toofani B, the main difference being the ability to carry one large bomb rather than two small ones. Flight-tested in 1930, and introduced into service later that year.

Name: Junkers Ju-87C
Type: Carrier-based dive bomber

Max Speed: 242 mph at 13000'
Range: 400 miles

Notes: First operational dive bombers in the BNS, they entered service late in 1937. Not considered satisfactory due to their short range.
