Thai "Large Combatant"

So some of you have noticed the large combatant under construction in Bangkok's largest Drydock. As Kirk has left what this ship is up to me, here are some proposals for what that ship could be. The springsharp files will each have there own post.
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march by,
Sneak home and pray you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

Given the state of the current Thai cruiser fleet both the CA or AACL would be welcome. With the purchase of the two small Italian carriers I think that the AA cruiser might just win out over the CA. It would be more useful to the fleet anyway.

The I and II both look good, I like the superior armour and armament on the I. II is more affordable though and might let Thailand build two ships for reletively little cost.

I think the most modern CL I have was layed down during WWI...

Anyway, with the tonnage I am paying Italy for those CVLs and CDSs, I don't have much wiggle room on large ships. Kirk started a ship with a trickle of tonnage (500 per quarter) going into it. That is about the max rate I can put into this ship until Italy is payed off. That wont be done until 1941Q1. So this design is going to be a one-off. Right now, CLAA II is the front runner for me, as it can be finished sooner. With a clerical error being corrected, it means that she could be completed by 1940Q4 and finish trials and become active 1941Q2. Then that leaves me some tonnage to fix up the old laides and maybe get some new DD's in the water. Those are almost as bad as my cruisers.

Nice to see the Siam / Thialand is following Denmark's example in 120mm as a large AA battery aboard ship!

One of those ships (CLII) is almost a copy of the Valkyrie II class......

well CLAA II is what that construction is. I noticed that 120mm was standard for Danish capital secondaries.
