Fuerza Aerea Filipina, 1/1/24

Strength of the Fuerza Aerea Filipina as of 1 January 1924:

at Manila:
1 squadron SPAD VII, 16 aircraft.
3 squadrons Manila Aeroplane Factory JN (Curtiss Jenny), 48 aircraft.
1 squadron Vickers Vimy, 12 aircraft.

at Cebu City:
1 squadron M.A.F. JN, 16 aircraft.

at Davao:
1 squadron SPAD VII, 16 aircraft.
2 squadrons M.A.F. JN, 16 aircraft

Can we assume that the M.A.F. JN's will suffer the same fate as the Jenny's did? After WW1 many Jenny's went for a few hundred bucks, paving the way for the mail service.

It's possible, but any disposal is at least five years away, so they have to survive that long first. ;)

...or after the Phillipino govt. finds someone to blame for buying them in the first place! I like the idea that the Phillipino's would by the Jenny design, they can learn from its minor mistakes and improve on the next design.
