Middle East Non-Aggression Treaty

Preamble
The Contracting Powers express their intent for peaceful relations in the Middle Eastern region, and desire to guarantee a lasting peace between their countries.

Article I.
The High Contracting Parties will desist from any act of aggressive action, or any form of military attack on each other, either individually or jointly with other Powers.

Article II.
Should the High Contracting Parties become the object of belligerent aggression by a third power/ state, the other High Contracting Parties shall in no manner lend its support to this third power/ state.

Article III.
Should the High Contracting Parties initiate offensive action against a third state, the other High Contracting Party shall in no manner lend its support to this third power/ state unless the third power/ state is a formal Ally of the other High Contracting Party and then this Treaty is rendered null and void.

Article IV.
The high contracting parties, having regard to the interests of security of each of them and agree to work together in friendly collaboration for the organization of security and economic prosperity in the Middle Eastern region.

Article V.
The present Treaty in no way affects the obligations of either High Contracting Party in respect to previous obligations.

Article VI.
The High Contracting Parties agree not to seek territorial changes with regards to their mutual borders.

Article VII.
The present Treaty is concluded for a period of ten years, with the proviso that, in so far as one of the High Contracting Parties does not advance it one year prior to the expiration of this period, the validity of this Treaty shall automatically be extended for another ten years.

Article VIII.
The present treaty has being ratified on the City of Ganca on July 28th 1938. The Agreement shall enters into force as soon as the Instruments of Ratification have been exchanged between all High Contracting Parties.
