The votes are now being counted and it only a matter of time before the results are announced. When asked to give his impressions of the election campaign, Carl Theodor Zahle , leader of the S.D. party said "I believe that we fought this campaign in a truthful and open manner, and we answered all the questions asked of us. We had nothing to hide, where as the government has been evasive on several subjects, mostly to do with the Ministery of Defence".

When asked to predict the result, he commented" I am looking forward to seeing MISTER Niels Thomasius Neergaard settling into his new seat in Opposition!"
