July 27th 1923

The Atlantean goodwill cruise, with the ANS Cobra subdued from her trickery, arrived at Algiers. Upon docking the ports base Admiral boarded the media savy Cobra to start his tour of the Atlantean fleet, being greatly impressed by the cruiser Valencia.

August 4th 1923

Today in Marseille the first Atlantean fleet to visit the French mainland since the signing of the FAR alliance treaty arrived ammoungst the largest reception they have received so far in their cruise. Atlantean sailors couldn't wait to take advantage of their shore leave priviledges and hit the local establishments, and the captain of the battleship Poseidon, captain Addis Crisius jokingly warned a french sailor that he'd better inform the local military policemen that he would have a few more rowdy sailors to deal with.
The fleet is expected to partake in FAR fleet drills to formalize themselves with their allies tactics, when they are not enjoying extended shore leave that is! Afterwords they will proceed to Corsica where they will engage in a pre-planed naval gunnery practice with other Atlantean, French and russian warships.

August 20th 1923

Today in the Corsica region FAR fleet units participated in Gunnery excersizes which involved some Austrian hulks and alot of shell fire, several battleship captains no doubt had smiles that couldn't be blasted off their faces with even their own ships guns! Particular attention was paid to the former Austrian Szentistvan.

She was interned at Izmir, Turkey and seeing as Atlantis cannot retain more than 11 capital ships, yes she was sunk along with other interned vessels in a rather spectacular way. Historically Szentistvan was sunk before the end of the war so her sinking now dosn't make a difference. The difference is Atlantis would have several 12" guns for testing and the rest for coastal battery's.
