Marinkuriren February 7th 1921: Naval architects killed in duel

Naval architects killed in duel
Two senior naval architects at the navy design office attached to the Department of Ship Technology at Kungliga Tekniska Högskolen (KTH), Stockholm, shot and killed each-other in a duel early February 5th. Their names have not yet been released. His Majesty's minister of the Navy, Gustaf Dyrssen, in a short comment stated that the normal punishment for duels by navy officers was death, but that in this particular case a posthumous deathsentence was probably superfluous. The cause of the duel was not known, though bothd esigners have been heavily involved at a high level in the Navy's cruiser-programme, and were known to have widely differing views.
