For reasons known only to itself, the power supply unit on my computer (six months old!) has decided to stop working; I've got alternative access to the internet, but it could be hit-and-miss until I can get it fixed.

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt, coffee mug and Lunchbox set to go with it. I've had a computer which had every major component replaced (Graphics card, hard drive, motherboard, and powersupply) before my windows XP was giving me more fits than I could stand. I then decided enough was enough and peiced a new system together and I've been reasonable trouble free.

And now the external hard drive on which I made a backup has decided to start clicking ominously. Oh well, at least the computer is being collected for repair tomorrow.
