Mom did. I had the misfortune of being the youngest guest on the ship; I was 25, the next youngest was 48. I enjoyed seeing many of those sights, tho, even if the Museum at Arromanches tried to kill me. (:

It would've been nice to see more of St. Pete (The Admiralty, naval museum, and actually go aboard the Aurora), but the Russian Government is not very tourist-friendly; We were limited to 3 or 4 cruise-run bus/boat tours. If we wanted to do anything besides those, we had to apply and pay 250 per person for a tourist visa....and everything was closed on Mondays anyway. The bonus to that was, we got into the Hermitage while it was technically 'closed', so we got through it quicker and saw a lot more than most tours would.

Likewise, I wanted to visit the Britannia Naval College while at Dartmouth, but it was closed. A bus screwup prevented most of the ship from even getting off the freight-dock in Amsterdam, too. They had 2 50-person buses providing hour long roundtrip service to the actual city to serve about 700 passengers.
