D. Transactions

0.1 IP transferred to Persia

Ordered 12 420mm coast defense guns from the Obukhov Works, Petrograd. Order includes 200 420mm rounds per gun, and a licence to produce further ammunition in France. Each gun weighs 135 tons, and the shells per gun weigh 225 tons. The total order comes to 4,320 tons, and a total of 5,000 tons of warship material will be paid to the Russian Federation.

1,000 tons warship material sent to the Russian Federation inpayment in Q2/30. Balance of 2,000 tons remains to be paid in 1930.

E. Other Notes
12 single turrets for 420mm guns started. Each requires 600 tons warship materials, for a total of 7200 tons required. 210 tons added to each by Q2/30. 130 tons added to each in Q2/30, for a total of 1560 tons expended in Q2/30. 4,680 tons remaining.

8 240mm/50 Model 1927 ordered, in single turrets - 200 tons each. 40 tons added to each by Q2/30. 40 tons added in Q2/30, for a total of 320 tons. 80 tons each remaining, for a total of 640 tons remaining.

7,385 tons expended out of 8987 tons available.

12x 12" guns from the scrapped battleship Paris, and 8x 190mm, 16x 164mm and 12x 100mm guns from the scrapped armored cruisers Gloire and Conde incorporated into the coastal defenses at Papeete, French Polynesia.

22x 140mm guns from the scrapped battleship Paris and 16x 155mm and 12x 75mm guns from the scrapped aircraft carriers Normandie and Languedoc incorporated into coast artillery defenses in French Polynesia.

New coast defense guns now available:
- 48x 120mm in 24 twin mounts
12 being installed at Kho Angar, Djibuti
12 being installed at Tangiers

- 108x 10mm AA guns in 54 twin mounts
18 being installed at Kho Angar, Djibuti
18 being installed at Tunis

The 120mm, 100mm, and 40mm guns above were made from materials produced in Q1/30, and will be finished and installed over the course of 1930.

F. Ships being scrapped

10 Petrel class submarines (1907) were scrapped during 1928, and will provide 760 tons warship materials by Q2/29. The remaining 10 will be scrapped in 1929, once their replacements, laid down in 1928, are completed. These will be completely scrapped by Q3/29, and will provide 760 tons of warship by Q2/30.
