Aircrafts for Afghanistan

Anyone willing to sell aircrafts to Afghanistan? We are assuming their aircrafts were destroyed in the 1936 Border Incident and they purchasing new ones. Thanks for all info.

I don't think Afghanistan is organised enough to have an air force. Its a bunch of separate tribes armed with horses and rifles. Nowadays they have RPGs and AKs but thats about the only change.

If the Afghans need some Bombers, China have some mothballed Harbin-31's. And if the Afghans need some Fighters, China has some Curtiss P-6E's or Boeing P-12E's.

Also China has some SF-201 and Gangchuan F-2 and last but not least some SDB-2.

If the Afghans are interested send me a PM.

I can see Afghanistan getting some of the old P-12's on the cheap. Anyone else wants to sell old aircrafts? I know Peru had a lot of aircrafts in storage.

I don't really think Afghanistan would have an airforce, either. After the last Indian invasion they've probably lacked the money to rebuild.

In my eyes i think the Afghani could have a few aircrafts ;), because otherwise i have to scrap them

Sounds like China would be giving them away for free. :D

There seems ...to be...a running theme here.....
Only you SATSUMA boys seem to think Afganistan can possess a swelled airforce.

Without proper pilots, it will actually be a grounded force. :)

And they have a year or more to purchase aircraft and IIRC everyone was sending weapons to them during the 1936 conflict (British and others OOC knowledge of course)

My plan is to have for them no more than 60 aircrafts of suspect quality, mayority old aircrafts or handmedowns.

Which make the OTL aircraft very suitable

* 1937 to ?: Hawker Hart

Well the Dutch have already disposed of much of their retired stocks and newer types are shifted to the reserves. That leaves the Belgians, who are fairly unscrupulous about who they sell to.

The Belgians are re-equipping from Avions-Fairey Fox II-IVs to Battles and Balmorals, while the Gladiators are being replaced by monoplanes. So there is a surplus there if somebody wanted to buy them.
