Could we possibly get the final stats on La Luna? I'm sure quite a few of those SA country's are dying to know the particulars.

Peru for one is dying to know what will be station in Guayaquil.

What is I.C.E ?

Thats quite a lot of landing craft as well.

I'm guessing it's a cousin to COSINE. It does at least have a good acronym, which is important to any government program.

If it is a COSINE cousin, then who are the participants? Doesn't appear to be AANM as Italy has no idea what it is.

Could be friends of Iberia in other parts of the world? Like South America?

Not sure what to say about it. Personally I would have gone for something that is a bit bigger and then use the gained HS to either increase the armor (to make it a bit more like a BB) or increase speed (to make it a bit more like a BC).
I get the impression Iberia likes to keep its capital ships light.

The original design was Bernhard's idea, to allow a maximum number of hulls, using all the available tonnage, in 3 different sizes. La Luna is the smallest and first as she (and her sisters) will be replacing the Santa Maria's.

I can see the merit in it. La Luna is strong enough to be a handful for any spiteful ex-Iberian colony that decided to have a go at a current Iberian colony. She can be a useful deterrent, or chew up enough of the enemy to make life easy for the rest of the Armada when it shows up.
