The founding of SATSUMA in the Far east and especially the rethoric accompanying it have cause grave concern in the foreign and defence ministries in Madrid. The lights have been burning long and the Indian, Japanese and Filipino amabssadors have all been seen visiting the foreign ministry.
El Pais 15th September 1924
Italy yesterday evening echoed Iberia's concerns about SATSUMA and it's agressive rethoric and the danger this appears to be posing to it's allies. Iberia and Italy are rumoured to be working on deploying a strong task force to East Asia to protect their and their ally's interests in the region. Italy has shown particular concern about the rethoric employed so short after the military clash between Denmark and India.
