Marinkuriren March 12th 1921: Plans of Royal Tour partially revealed

Plans of Royal Tour partially revealed
In a rare display of public openness, Stockholm Palace has revealed some aspects of the Royal tour planned for this summer. Notably, the Royal Yacht Drottning Desideria will stop near Karlskrona Naval Station in late June, at the beginning of the tour, to observe the destroyers Urho Saanio and Torstein Arctander perform excercises in highspeed maneuvering, competing with the now repaired destroyers Peter Wessel and Rustung, which both were involved in the accident in Trondheim some months ago. The exercise will form part of a programme to determine the relative efficiency of twin-mount destroyers versus single-mount destroyers. Peter Wessel and Rustung were chosen as the opposite numbers to Urho Saanio and Torstein Arctander, as they are technologically quite similar, save for the amtter of twin- and single-mounts.
