E. Other Notes
ZX-13 and KX-35 refits are to represent on going testing and swapping in newer upgraded models after the completion of sea trials.
CVx-Hund refit is kept slow (could have completed) as waiting for sea trials of Zx-13 to test upgraded 2nd gen Hazemeyer mounts and directors in April-May before Hund’s completion in June.
639 tons is allocated to coastal defense guns – 5 batteries (5x
of 152mm, and 13 batteries (13x
of 40mm.
These guns are to be emplaced on P. Karimun and P. Bintan (Riau Archipelago, Straits of Malacca) and Bakuheni on the Sunda Strait.
The sixteen vessels of the K-1 Class has been reclassified from Type A subs to Type B subs with a standard displacement of 415 tons. The filing papers state this is due to previously counting the 85 tons of ballast water against the tonnage, which is not necessary for treaty compliant standard tonnage.
