Petrograd: Morskoi Sbornik - 16 October 1926

Transfer of light forces announced

In view of upcoming completion of Myak class corvettes for Northern Fleet, existing Tyulpan class corvettes of 11th and 12th Corvette Flotillas will be transferred to Baltic Fleet, and 11th and 12th Flotillas will now operate Myak class.

Baltic Fleet Pion class corvettes of 1st and 2nd Corvette Flotillas will be replaced by Tyulpan class.
10 Pion class will be scrapped at Tallinn Naval Base, and 10 will be transferred to Caspian Sea Flotilla's 5th Corvette Flotilla. (Yes, they have a bit of a voyage ahead of them. It will be so convenient when I get my canal system finished, probably around 1935)

Existing Zorkiy class corvettes of 5th Corvette Flotilla will be scrapped at Astrakhan and Sevastopol.

In Pacific Fleet, in anticipation of arrival of Khitriy class coast defense submarines, Kovarniy class submarines of 11th and 12th Flotillas will be scrapped at Vladivostov and Petropavlovsk.
