Stu, calling an Irishman a Brit is downright hazardous for your health ;) And I am German.

Part from that the sentiment is appreciated :)

Looks like fun. Closest I ever got to being a seaman was helping haul up the anchor chain on an old Tugboat, The "Ivanhoe", during one of our company's old fishing trips. She's one of the oldest tugs in the area, think she weighed in at around 300 tons or so.

Fishing trips where no fish were caught but we sure got drunk at night. Drinking usually started about 9:00 in the morning as we were sailing out of the Burrard inlet.
You can emagine the shinanigans aboard as we sailed past Stanley Park.....

Have fun!

Firstly I apologize for the following.......

BASTARD!!!!!!

I am seriously envious!!!!!!

p.s. Drogheda is in County Louth,
and calling a Louthman a Meathman is just as bad!!

Not as much as I'd like it to be, better with maps and charts though.
But unfortunately, November is in the teeth of "Silly Season"tm , and there is no way I'd get time off!
