July 12th 1922
After years of work a new World hockey league is about to come to fuitation. The WHL as it is to be called will incorporate teams from all over the world and a limited amount of games will be played internationally in regular season and a post season tournament.
It will revolve primarily around four leagues, a North American league, Western European league, Eastern European league and a Far East League. Teams in each sub league will play most of their games against teams in their league with the occational rival league games.
At the end of the season the top teams in each league will battle it out for a WHL championship tournament.
July 28th 1922
In keeping with its commitments to its south American summit agreement Atlantis has dispatched 3 rifle Brigades 2 tank platoons (20 tanks) and 4 armored car platoons to Venezuela where upon arrival will be sent to various points in southern Venezuela, Guyana and Suriname to help those country's patrol their borders and prevent the spread of further hostilities in the region. The Current Nordmark/Argentina conflict has increased tention in the region in addition to the suplementary treaty signed by Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay. As a result of this treaty and post treaty remarks by said country's Atlantis, France, Iberia and Russia cunducted their own treaty talks after the request of several nations in the region to stabilize the situation. No additional information could be obtained on which units where sent to the region and it is not known what units have been sent by France, Russia and Iberia.
August 5th 1922
The Atlantian navy has declaired that a new series of cruisers is about to be laid down to take advantage of the Cleito Treatys limits set on future cruiser designs.
In addition it has also announced that the old armored cruisers Cape Verde and Venezuela are currently being prepared for convertion to training ships and a new Escort cruiser will also be laid down.
August 28th 1922
The ANS Caracus was completed today and will begin trials in the next few days. The Caracus is the first of four new light cruisers based on the eridanus class with minor improvements to be launched. The Valencia, Ascanius and Maracaibo are expected to complete by the end of the year.
