Same here for the years I've been here.

That's why there's frequent requests for Mods to delete erroneous threads and accidental double-posts, Wes. Deleting is a Mod/Admin-only ability, methinks.

Yes, Soulless Minion of Orthodoxy was what I was thinking of. But I'm still waiting to see what Wes and Hoo come up with on their own

I have been able to delete my own posts. Recently from the introductions sections (after Hoo noted we were veering off into vacation photos) and in the AANM forum.

Of course, just because I can, doesn't mean others can't...but could also mean it's not the title at fault.

Plus I could swear I once had the little squares.

Edit : Just checking, but yes, above the post-to-be edited is a separate 'Delete Post' line with a check box on the left and a button on the right.

I don't think it really matters that much; none of us seem to be cluttering the boards with a lot of posts/threads that need to be deleted, and the ones that do the Mods handle well enough I think.

But out of curiousity, any chance you could show us a screenshot of this mythical delete button, kirk? Maybe we're all missing it somehow. o.O

I use Photo shop but thats just personal preferance at work.

Looks like someone just made a change. About 60 minutes ago when I checked out one of my post, it did not have a delete option. Now that I am checking again, there is a delete option.
