Argentines learn from mistakes! Never!

That's right. If they had they would have given up their claim to Tierra del Fuego to the Chileans like they know they should.

Yemen might conceivably have a drydock at Hodeida - I assume the Ottomans must have had facilities somewhere along the Arabian coast.

Methinks Iraq might be independent by this point or close to it...

Jiddah, Hodeida (Al Hudaydah?) and Aden seem to be the largest ports. Janes mentions the first two as principle Ottoman ports.

Well then, I suppose we can say the House of Saud has a port awaiting a factory - I'd say give them another year to get things organised, perhaps a second factory by 1936. Not much if any beyond that, though.

Aden would be British soil.

Reasonable, methinx.

Aden is in Yemen, opposite of Djibouti. Unless Yemen is a British protecturate as well which IIRC it isn't?

See "The Big Ass Map" - Aden and a large protectorate are British-ish, while a small chunk (what I think was historically South Yemen) is independent Yemen.

Aden is indeed part of British Yemeni hinderland.

Who said Ireland was independent?

It doesn't look that way on the map...

I still have enough firepower in Siam to make your life interesting........Now, what was that about Ireland?????

On the map Ireland is colored, with a very close match to that of the SAE's... ;-)

Ahh, ok, I see how you could make that mistake.
Allow me to correct you, because what you'll find is that the S.A.E. is actually really a provence of the Greater Celtic Super-Nation....easy mistake to make due to the map colours!

Well, I couldn't resist making Ireland green. I tried to make it a bit different from SA, more olive drab, and hoped that the fact that they are on opposite halves of the planet would limit confusion.

Does anyone remember the HMIS Guinness from the All the Worlds Battlecruisers Board?

Would make a perfect flagship for the Irish!
