Brock has already mentioned the practical reason for increasing the fuel reserve - longer legs at high speed - but it has the design benefit of putting more mass below the waterline, which can help stability in certain situations. It may also result in a lower light tonnage.

Ah, looking good!

Few more nitpics. I would add hoists to your 100mm guns. That will keep there ammo coming at a nice and steady rate. Once you add the hoists, I would give them some light armor for splinter protection. Then, since you may still have some cross-sectional strenght left put it into speed, as I think your seekeeping can take it.

Looking very good, keep up the great work!

I would have to agree with Snip. Select the mount and hoist option.

As you see the increase in bloc coefficient certainly helped the stability issues, together with the increased bunkers. Excellent progress.

Thanks for your help and recommendations so far....but I think i need your help once more. I started to make a drwaing of the ship and....well I stopped the drawing because it looks kinda wierd....the freeboard looks way to big for me.
What do you think?

The shear does look to be a bit much. Try lowering it in the SS file and see what it does to seakeeping
