The name is apt. It's a Junker.

Even if it is a Junker, it's still better-looking than the Dornier Wheelie Bin. :)

don't dis Tante Ju.

This plane belongs with the greats.
So what it spat oil on the windshield.

Take in too account it was build in 1933 when rags and laundry wire were the primary building materials it is the Mona Lisa and Venus of Milo of aviation.

Plus Three engine planes have the look that either screams "ugly as sin" or a "bow down to the awesome".

All of them goes
"What? I did not here You over the Awesome I is"

Next plane I post will be also a transport, this time from the Blue,
It will be a function over form, as opposed to form over function the Reveille "Express" was.

I have no problem calling the Ju 52 Fugly, particularily when compaired to the much better looking Do 24.

Dornier Do 24? Nah, you want the CANT Z.508 instead.

I'm not sure about this trimotor airliner. I think a wider fuselage is needed. This design below shows you the sort of thing I mean. I wouldn't go for the butterfly tail either - there really aren't that many times when the reduced drag makes up for the increase in weight and complexity.

Scale diagram and a short back story.

This is too give a sense of scale.

Reveille Express.

Red government order of 1939 for a fast transport plane was answered by 5 manufacturers.
Zalewski, CFL, Krolewskie, Eppstain-Rosenkranz and the foreign Wyszkoni.
Wyszkoni was considered an underdog, and experts did not believed it will win. The plane used lots of novelty and controversial equipment. Powered by three Diesels. Those engines were largest and heaviest aviation engines in the world at the time.
The plane won on its performance alone. It cruise speed was 100km/h faster that the competition. Its payload and cargo volume were considered adequate.
Five factories were retooled and prepared for production, and order of 1000 airframes were placed.

"Express" is controversial even today. Its payload was the same as its comparable Blue aircraft while its price was almost three times as high. Its civilian carrier was small. Some surplus planes made there way to civil owners, but it was largely preferred to by other surplus transport planes available on the market that were smaller and simpler. It performance was a bonus, but new propose build airliners that had larger useful volume and similar performance with the bonus of pressurized cabins.

Good looking camo, it would be interesting to see your Justyna and Viktor bombers in bigger drawings like you have done with rhe fighters

Thanks.
Plane has no tactical numbers or lettering as it is removed from planes in wartime. Only national marking is on the tail, there isn't any on the wings, red nose is the only other recognition sign. This plane will operate in hostile territory, flying in a disadvantage. So low observability is the priority. Aircraft's of the Blue have much more prominent markings.

The cat is the squadron emblem.
It is Percy from Sinfest.net web comic.

Vukovlad here You go.

Machine Guns are in a dual configuration, one trigger breech and sight, two barrels two chambers.
Forward and rear turrets have 4 MG's each,top turret has 2 MG's. Giving a total of 10 8mm MG's

The running pig is not my idea my girlfriend told me too use it.
That or a peace sign, I was in on mood of making "Full Metal Jacket"reference, so it went with the pig(Squig form Tatsuya Ishida "Sinfest")

The pig is running in a opposite direction so it is also a joke.

Has a mid-30´s french look, you may want to move the tail wheel back a bit so that the tail doesnt hit the ground on landing

That was the look I was going for. Heavily defended bomber that will not need fighter escort.
That concept all so happened to be French.
As for the tail wheel:
For the tail too hit the ground the plane will have to be at 30 degrees to the ground. With angle this high it will be in a stall and/or spin so at that moment is unmaneuverable so there are other things to worry about.

Armed with 3 8mm MG's there are carried inside the hull during flight and are only put in there firing position if in danger.

Special thanks to my girlfiend for pointing out how to faster make this drawing.

My inspiration came from the Mitsubishi G3M.
The glass nose was inspired by 1950's soviet airliners and bombers. It looks like I failed to capture the look.
It is more a B-17 that a Tupolev.

... after some google-fu... Yes.
I used it because it looked cool.
Kind of out of place for a desert nation plane.
