Springsharp is Alive!

A fellow Discord user apparently emailed the devs, and it sounds like they're interested both in gathering more data on engine weights, and potentially moving Springsharp to an open-source software setup. That has some very interesting potential for Springsharp's future... :)

Peruvian News and Events, 1950

Quoted from "BruceDuncan" From the scene of border conflicts between Peru and its neighbors the Tres Fronteras now seemed to be a showcase for Peru to demonstrate its willingness to prove itself a good neighbor, and in this regard it was putting his own government to shame, to say nothing of the Colombians. OOC - once again, just because we're not posting a lot of details about the Brazilian side of the border does not mean they are inactive. They are still pouring a massive amount of funding i...

In general, the French government would not make any special attempts to force the Dutch toward one solution or another - although their strong inclination is to support the Dutch government with all reasonable measures, including military. That said... N'dofa is still very high on France's $#!( list, so if we know where he is... hm, well...

Mmm, yeah, the Russian socialists are currently... stagnant, is I think the best word for it. Quoted The German-dominated Russian Government has been encouraged to make enormous rearmament preparations and mass expenditure of millions on a scale undreamed-of are now taking place. Cough cough China. Quoted If now the French Government tries, ...

Quoted from "Hood" A message was sent to Paris asking for rights to overfly French territory in Northern and Central Africa to begin military support flights. Request accepted, with the additional offer (as per the last central African kerfluffle) of refueling at the airstrips in Niger. If the Dutch would like, they can deploy some of their paratroops into the airstrips at Niamey, Zinder, and Maradi in order to have them closer to the zone of action, in the event they have to be used. ...and, a...

Peru - Sánchez Carrión class Gunboat-Transport

They're some nice ships, I think. Chile did something similar in 1949 (...which I haven't posted yet, shame on me) but those are based on the Crosley-class ships.

Quoted from "BruceDuncan" Quoted from "Brockpaine" Hope they've camouflaged the cargo better than normal... given the increased scrutiny for piracy and gunrunning in the region - going into places like Berbera especially - they're likely to get at least one warship giving them the stink-eye. Perhaps they are counting on the attention of the Italians - at least - being diverted elsewhere by the visiting East Asia Squadron. Perhaps... But the French tripled their patrol forces in Djibouti in Sept...
