Today the Government have issued a statement on the war between Chile and Bolivia.
“We welcome the war. Bolivia has pushed itself into the affairs of others and now will pay the price. The Army will mobilise to defend the nation should Bolivia attempt to invade us. If rumours of a Brazilian-Chilean carve up of Bolivia are true then we must be ready to claim anything which we deem as ours before the imperialists try to swallow us too.”

The Argentine Diplomat Alfredo Castagone arrived in Asuncion with Argentine Military Officials to discuss the recent illegal incursions by the Argentine Army in trying to combat FUM. Our government have such actions to stop. Faced with threats of force and invasion by the imperialistic Argentines we were forced to allow them free access through our borders. Our leader is not pleased but lacking strength and feeling the pressure of Brazil to the north is making it clear enemies surround us and wish to destroy our nation. We say NEVER! Every man will fight to prevent this.

Our gracious leader General Hector Ramon Garioza Ruiz Diaz was present at a massive military parade to show our neighbours that Paraguay is ready to fight if we need to defend ourselves. Some 2,500 troops took part along with some armoured cars.

The government today have confirmed the existence of a rebel force separate from FUM who wish to overthrow the government. No further details have been released by the Army.

The War Ministry today confirmed the recent actions involving Peru and Brazil. It seems the whole continent is on the brink of war. Let the imperialists wear themselves out fighting each other. Then we will strike to defend our interests.
