Erm Nordmark transfered 2000tons to Atlantis in Q2 for a liscence to build MTB-81 type vessels.

4

Sunday, January 28th 2007, 9:43am

Your right, I've been having so many problems with my computer lately it got lost in the shuffle. Minor correction, its the MTB-82 class.

Looks like I'll get to extra IP's to compinstate, Q2's been edited.

5

Sunday, January 28th 2007, 10:03am

Typo on my part

6

Sunday, January 28th 2007, 11:11am

2000 tons for a license to build MTBs? Wow, Atlantis is an EXPENSIVE supplier, considering that that's enough to buy over 20 of them outright.

7

Sunday, January 28th 2007, 12:12pm

Yeah come to think of it wasn't it 200 tons? Edited again to reverse the IP snafu.

8

Monday, January 29th 2007, 8:34am

Look out for how many Nordmarks planning to build though.

9

Monday, January 29th 2007, 9:56am

I checked past PM's, 2,000 tons was the figure mentioned which is enough tonage to purchase 43 units. Given Earls responce I'd say he's going to build more than that.

Quoted

Look out for how many Nordmarks planning to build though.

Assuming Atlantis is a generous nation (like Japan), they'll charge 10% for the license. For a boat that is 40-50 tons, that would come out at 4-5 tons per boat constructed by Nordmark. If the 2000 tons is correct, that would mean a grand total of 400-500 boats!
Looks like Nordmark is thinking Big.

11

Monday, January 29th 2007, 3:45pm

True, which is a bit concerning to those of us on the other side of the Baltic.

12

Monday, January 29th 2007, 4:07pm

Yeah, he could line them all up and walk across the Baltic. :D

13

Monday, January 29th 2007, 4:22pm

Heh, not so funny, considering that Nordmark invaded Germany during the Great War.....

14

Monday, January 29th 2007, 8:08pm

Yeah but I kinda think that invasion was prevoked by other powers...*wink wink nudge nudge*

15

Monday, January 29th 2007, 8:24pm

Heh, I didn't say there might not have been reasons.... But it still is a little worrisome, since I'm fairly certain that large numbers of MTBs won't self-deploy to the Falklands.

Oil Tankers provide convenient transports for MTB's, strap them to the deck and ship em to their destination.
