I wasn't thinking of trying to raise it or anything. Just examining the hull, weapons, fittings to see if there's anything identifiable. Might even just get lucky trawling the debris field with fishing nets.

Isn't this conference is to early to bring up the events in the South China sea?

The Australian representative is Admiral John Glossop former captain of the HMAS Sydney and victor of the Battle of Cocos . He arrived aboard his former warship.

Dont you guys love irony? The Australian captain and ship who destroyed a German Raider that was staging from India, arrive in India for an Anti-Piracy conference.

IC Since the LOC between Australia and GB are very vulnerable, Australia has been researching into this topic. The RAN is working on a 4,000 ton cruiser speceificlly for dealing with pirates. The cruiser will be armed with 6x6" guns, will be capable of 24kts, and will carry 9 AC. This will allow it to find and destroy 99% of the pirates around today. Australia is also looking at a smaller vessel. Displacing 1,700 tons this cruiser will carry 8x4.7" guns, have a speed of 24kts, and will carry 1 AC. Being unrestricted by the Cleito treaty this warship will be the back bone of the Australian Anti-Piracy Squadrons.

There were events in the South China sea from the early 1920s and even into the mid1920s in Wesworld. Only recently have things picked up again, likely after the pirates hid out for a while following the sinking of the Arcadia and the discovery that Loki was pirate bait for the MAS boats she carried.
