Aircraft Procurement from the United States

The Philippines has arranged the purchase of the following aviation equipment from the United States for delivery through 1942-43.

North American P-51D: Initial batch of 75 aircraft with one confirmed follow-on batch of 75 aircraft. Additional batches may be negotiated at a later date.

Lockheed P-38E: Initial batch of 50 aircraft, with one follow-on batch probable.

Douglas C-47A: Initial batch of 19 aircraft, with one confirmed follow-on batch of 19 aircraft. Additional batches may be negotiated at a later date.

Grumman F6F-3: One batch of 100 aircraft confirmed. Additional batches may be negotiated at a later date.

Douglas SBD-3: One batch of 100 aircraft confirmed. Additional batches may be negotiated at a later date.

North American B-25C: One batch of 50 aircraft confirmed, with one confirmed follow-on batch of 50 aircraft.

Consolidated PBY-5: One batch of 50 aircraft confirmed. Additional batches may be negotiated at a later date.

Motor Vehicle Procurement from the United States

The Philippines has arranged the purchase of the following motor vehicles in the United States

Willys-Overland MB Field Car: 4,000 examples, to be delivered in batches of 200 units per month for local assembly commencing January 1942.

Dodge Fargo WC Light Truck: 6,000 examples to be delivered in batches of 200 units per month for local assembly commencing January 1942.

Motor Vehicle Procurement in Czechoslovakia

The Philippines has arranged the purchase of the following motor vehicles in Czechoslovakia:

Skoda 6LT Medium Cargo Truck: 2,000 examples, to be delivered in batches of fifty units per month for local assembly commencing January 1942.

The Philippines has arranged the purchase of 250 examples of the Char 6-Bruyere Light Tank and its deritivies, as follows:

Gun Tanks: 210
Armored Recovery Vehicles: 12
Armored Engineer Vehiicles: 12
Training Vehicles: 16

Total: 250

Armored Vehicle Procurement in the United States

The Philippines has arranged the purchase of 120 examples of the M8 armored car.

First deliveries are expected before the close of 1942.

Artillery Procurement in the Russian Federation

The Philippine Army has procured:

300 examples of the M1938 122mm divisional howitzer, with deliveries starting in the autumn of 1942.

300 examples of the 57m antitank gun, with deliveries starting in the autumn of 1942.

North American P-51D - 300 aircraft in four batches plus manufacturing license, last US built aircraft delivered July 1944

Lockheed P-38 - 100 day fighters and 50 night fighters in three batches, last aircraft to be delivered in July 1945

Douglas A-26 - 75 aircraft plus manufacturing license, last US built aircraft to be delivered in July 1945

Consolidated B-24 - 75 aircraft, last aircraft delivered in August 1944

Douglas C-47 - 57 aircraft, last aircraft delivered in April 1944

Grumman F6F - 150 aircraft, last aircraft delivered in July 1944
