[Historical] Lingayan class Battlecarrier

After the then-under construction battlecruiser Bohol was heavily damaged during the Revolution, there were some proposals to convert her into an aircraft carrier, while others supported pushing ahead with the original design. This proposal for a hybrid "Battlecarrier" mounting the forward main guns and an aft flight deck was briefly considered.

[Historical] Marinduque class Escort Cruiser (1927)

After the loss of Mindoro and Mindanao, it was proposed to use turrets recovered from the ships to equip a new Escort Cruiser. However the MdF decided not to pursue this concept; the 8" turret was mounted in coastal artillery, while the 6" guns were refurbished and stored, eventually being mounted in the "assault transport" Balabac.
