After the then-under construction battlecruiser Bohol was heavily damaged during the Revolution, there were some proposals to convert her into an aircraft carrier, while others supported pushing ahead with the original design. This proposal for a hybrid "Battlecarrier" mounting the forward main guns and an aft flight deck was briefly considered.
