Mindanao class Battlecruiser

(Historical data)

The purchase of the former battlecruiser Warzawa was agreed late in 1935, the purchase making possible to replace the old predreadnaught Fernando in the order of battle. After consideration it was decided to use the 280mm Indian round as the main gun instead to the 320mm used in the Samal class, with more barrels of the smaller caliber giving a larger rate of fire. Here is the version after changes made to original design.
