All relations are set to neutral by default

- No contact
- At war
- Poor
- Cool
- Neutral
- Fair
- Good
- Excellent
- Ally

Alliances and Leagues
FAR - Ally, Excellent. Chile is a member of FAR.
ABC - Ally, Excellent. Chile is a founding member of ABC.
League of Nations - Good. Chile thought the League dragged their feet during the Andean War, but otherwise is on good terms.
GNUK - Neutral. Chile sees this alliance as a loose regional affiliation.
SATSUMA - Neutral. Chile sees some of the powers as potential rogue actors in Asian affairs and probable to cause a major conflict sometime in the future.
AEGIS - Neutral. Chile had some tense dealings with Peru but was pleased by recent overall trends in that alliance.
NATO - Good.

Individual Nations

Europe
France - Excellent, Ally. FAR member.
Russia - Excellent, Ally. FAR member.
Germany - Good to excellent. Chile looks to Germany for many Army traditions and there is a large and valued Chilean-German minority. German interest in greater economic ties equates to a rise in popular perception. **
Byzantium - Good.
Nordmark - Good. The majority of the Chilean battle-fleet is Nordish built.
Switzerland - Good, but little contact.
United Kingdom - Good. Britain is one of our long-time friends and their influence, though waning in South America, has been fruitful and positive.
Iberia - Fair to good. Iberia's influence, once regarded with suspicion, is now seen in a more positive light, given their role in curbing potential Peruvian adventurism in 1936 and 1937. **
Denmark - Fair.
Italy - Fair.
Ireland - Fair. Chile has regard for the homeland of their liberating hero. Relatively little exists in the way of major economic, military, or diplomatic contacts, however.
The Netherlands - Fair.

Colombia - Excellent, Ally. FAR member.
Chile - Excellent, we like ourselves.
United States - Good to excellent. The US has returned to political sanity after the really really Long period of idiocy.
Brazil - Good, Ally. ABC member. Increasing military and economic cooperation has led to more regular contacts, but their imperial system remains a curiosity.
Canada - Good. Though some nations have been irritated by Canadian international politics, Chile has always had positive dealings with them.
Mexico - Cool to neutral. Inexplicable political and economic shenanigans have resulted in the perception of Mexico as a rogue state. Fortunately, it's the US's problem.
Paraguay - Neutral.
Bolivia - Cool. Instability, poverty, and a rampant drug problem affects Chile's perception of them. **
Peru - Neutral. The new Peruvian government has worked to patch up ruptured relations with Chile and Colombia and re-institute responsible local government. **

Africa
Atlantis - Excellent, Ally. FAR member and longtime military supplier.
Kongo - Neutral to fair. Associates of the Dutch, so they're okay.
South Africa - Neutral. The SAE's war with Chile's allies earned extreme concern, but the SAE's following inaction resulted in a decrease of perceived hostility. Chilean analysis believes that the SAE's political system is unsustainable and the Empire will collapse from internal issues within three to five decades.**

Asia and Australia
Australia - Good.
The Philippines - Neutral to fair.**
Siam - Neutral, little contact.
China - Neutral. Their war against the Philippines was seen as a prelude to further military adventurism. Fortunately there's this great big bleeding ocean. **

India - Neutral. India's sales of military hardware to Peru has raised eyebrows but is not a cause for serious concern.
